Frequently Asked Questions
When is the Ball, and what is it?
The CPA Summer Ball is on Saturday 22 June 2019, at the Crowne Plaza Stratford Upon Avon. This is the largest event in the CPA calendar, and raises a huge amount of money for our nominated charities this year – The Friendship Project and MND Association. It’s also the perfect opportunity to celebrate as we near the end of the year. The event takes place every other year, so this may be the last opportunity for Year 5 and Year 6 parents to get together before moving on to new schools.
What’s included in the ticket price?
Tickets are £70 per person and include a welcome drink, 3 course meal with wine, entertainment, and live music and dancing. Other drinks during the evening are of course available at the bar.

What's the dress code?
Black tie and posh frocks - dress to impress!

What time does it end?
Live music ends at midnight and the bar closes to non-residents at 12.30pm. Hotel accommodation is available at a reduced rate of £120 per person, including breakfast. We recommend pre-booking taxi's to ensure availability, but the hotel reception will be able to book taxi's as necessary.

Is there parking?
Complimentary overnight parking is available at the Crowne Plaza Stratford upon Avon. Please register your car details with reception on arrival to avoid the overnight parking charges!
What about specific dietary requirements?
We’ve introduced a pre-choice menu this year, and selections should be made when the tickets are booked. However, if you have specific dietary requirements not catered for in the choice menu, just let us know and we will arrange a suitable replacement for you with the hotel. Feel free to write on the back of the booking form if you need more space!
My group is less than 10 – can we sit together?
Of course! Tables of 10 and 12 are available at the venue, and some parents get full table groups together. Whether you are a group of 4, 6, or 8 you will still be sat together, although we wouldn't be able to confirm an exclusive table for you until nearer the time. Even if there are just 2 of you, we'll sit year groups on the same table where possible.
Can I have a table of 14?
No.
How do you raise money?
Fundraising activities include the live auction on the night, an online auction which will launch the week before the event, raffle tickets on the night and a pre dinner game of Red and Black (a.k.a. Heads and Tails). We are still gathering the prizes, and individual lots will be announced nearer the time.
